Waverly Chamber Music Series Presents “Have an OK Christmas”

The Waverly Chamber Music Series (WCMS) is hosting The OK Factor on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church & School for a holiday performance titled “Have an OK Christmas.”

The OK Factor is a duo that consists of cellist Olivia Diercks and violinist Karla Peters. The duo describes their partnership as ‘lucky,’ as the two share an almost telepathic musical connection. The OK Factor headlined last year’s December concert and is returning by popular demand.

The OK Factor’s original compositions and folk-inspired arrangements are celebrated for being both familiar and refreshingly new. MPR’s Julie Amacher describes the music as “genre-bending.”

Offstage, The OK Factor has cultivated a commitment to community engagement through residency programs, outreach performances and education workshops for students as part of their ATLAS initiative. This impact was recognized by the Minnesota State Arts Board Arts Education Grant for the 2024 school year.

The Waverly Chamber of Music Series invites the community to join the performance full of holiday spirit, artistry and connection. Admission is free and donations are accepted.
