WAVERLY, Iowa- Amy De Jardin Salvaterra is the photographer for Menards Inc., the third largest home improvement store in the United States. Her photography has been displayed in magazines, billboards, print ads, television ads, Instagram, Pinterest, Menards.com, and in over 300 Menards stores in 14 states. Amy works with the television and radio staff at Menards is frequently involved in producing videos and television ads, both in front and behind the cameras. Amy has also voiced several radio, television and in-store ads for Menards.
Amy graduated from Wartburg College in 2007, where she earned two Bachelor of Arts Degrees’; one in broadcasting and journalism and the other in theatre, speech and cinema.
Before working for Menards corporate, Amy was a reporter and producer for WEAU-TV13 News in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Amy continues to be connected with local broadcasting in her area where she voices for local radio stations and advertising companies.
Staying active in her community, Amy volunteers doing various photography and marketing for local churches, Indianhead Track Club, local Girl Scout troops and the Eau Claire Children’s Theatre. She also teaches photography classes at local schools and organizations.
Amy lives in Eau Claire, Wisconsin with her two kids Giavanna (Gia) and Leonardo (Lilo). She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling.
